My why.
The words we tell ourselves and the words we tell the world have the power to influence
more than we can imagine. I am here to help you choose your words.

I believe words matter and meaningful change begins with self-awareness.
For more than two decades, I have worked with words: shaping stories, building brands and helping people and organisations communicate who they are and what they stand for. But before I could shape my own brand I had to understand my own story: the words I had inherited and the words I was telling myself.
Today, I bring that experience into my work as a coach, hypnotherapist and narrative specialist, helping people understand and reshape the stories influencing how they lead, communicate and live.
I’m the first to admit that I have a multi-hyphenate career. I’m endlessly curious, love learning and believe we should have the freedom to keep evolving.
Alongside Life by Design, I continue to work as a fractional marketing and PR specialist through www.moonshotmarketing.com.au. While these two worlds may appear different, they are connected by the same powerful idea: the narratives we create shape how we see ourselves and how others see us.
My coaching methodology blends strategic thinking with deep personal transformation. People come to me when they are seeking clarity about what comes next, navigating a career or life transition, building confidence as a speaker or leader, or wanting to develop their personal profile with greater authority.
Drawing on my training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, hypnotherapy, marketing and public relations - alongside 12 years of teaching yoga and nervous-system regulation - I help people uncover the beliefs, emotional patterns and unconscious stories influencing how they show up in their relationships, careers and lives.
Together, we bring awareness to what is happening beneath the surface, clarify the person you want to become and begin embedding new beliefs, behaviours and responses that support that future.
My work is grounded in two simple beliefs:
Words matter.
The language we use—to describe ourselves, speak to others and make sense of our experiences—has the power to limit us or lead us forward.
Transformation begins with self-awareness.
When we understand ourselves more deeply, we can communicate more consciously, respond rather than react and become more compassionate leaders, partners, parents and humans.
And I believe the world needs more conscious, compassionate leaders right now.
That transformation always starts within.
Read a little more about my story below.
ACT ONE
I was raised in the migrant tradition of "more is never enough." I translated that inherited drive into a meteoric corporate rise, becoming a Marketing Director with a large team by 30. But the cost was my biology. At 25, I lost my mother - a devastating awakening - I retrained in marketing and PR and then I overachieved to make up for what felt like lost time. By 29, my body was so dysregulated that my period simply stopped. For seven years, I lived in a state of constant stress, which finally manifested as panic attacks at 30-31. I was winning the game, but my system was crying out to stop.
The words I was telling myself: I must be successful, earn great money and climb the corporate ladder. I must prove my worth in productivity.

ACT TWO
Healing began with the body. I started yoga at 31, and by 33, it had become my lifeline. I decided to become a teacher - it was the only thing that could quiet the "fight or flight" response I had lived in for almost a decade. At 35, with the support of my now husband, we made the "illogical" choice: to walk away from a great career, from a great salary, to heal my body from years of over-achieving. I was told I’d never conceive naturally; I proved them wrong by regulating my system and reclaiming my agency. All in 12 months. I conceived two children naturally and became a consultant because I wanted the freedom to make choices aligned with my new set of values and identity.
The words I told myself: You are safe and I want to have a relationship with you.

ACT Three
My father passed away when I was pregnant with my second child. I didn’t process his departure until 18 months after he left this earth. And that compounding grief forced a final reckoning with my anger, sadness, and the deep-held belief that I had to "earn" my existence. I turned to NLP to work with my unconscious mind, finally deleting the old software that linked my worth to my output.
Today, I combine 20 years of storytelling and leadership expertise with the tools that helped me reclaim my life.
I help high-achievers use their own adversity as a catalyst to stop surviving a "default" life and start designing an aligned one.
The words I tell myself: My grief, self-doubt, and discovery can be shared through my stories, so that i can help others heal and become an upgraded version of themselves.
