Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, focused attention and personalised suggestions to help you enter a state known as trance.
Trance is a natural state of focused awareness similar to becoming absorbed in a book, losing track of time or driving a familiar route without thinking about every turn.
There is no mind control, you are fully aware and in control. You can hear what is being said, communicate if needed and choose whether to accept each suggestion.
It is less about giving up control and more about helping your conscious and unconscious minds work towards the same outcome.

Hypnotherapy may help with:
Changing unwanted habits such as snacking or nail-biting
Stopping smoking or vaping
Supporting healthier routines and lifestyle choices
Reducing reliance on alcohol
Building confidence and self-belief
Overcoming procrastination
Preparing for a race, presentation, workshop or sales pitch
Feeling calmer in a particular situation
Responding differently to pressure, frustration or overwhelm
Being a better parent or partner.
Every person and outcome is different. We’ll begin by discussing what you want to change and whether hypnotherapy is an appropriate approach for you.

Most of us already know what we “should” do
Most of us already know what we “should” do
We know we should put down the phone, stop reaching for the snack, speak up, set the
boundary, work out daily, avoid sugar or remain calm under pressure.
But knowing what to do does not always change the unconscious pattern driving the
behaviour.
Hypnotherapy allows us to work beneath the surface with the beliefs, stories and emotional
associations that may be keeping that pattern in place.
It isn’t taking the easy way out. It is choosing a different way to create change.

Your initial consultation allows us to explore:
What you would like to change
How the current pattern is affecting you
What you would prefer to experience instead
How you will recognise that meaningful change is occurring
Once we have created a clear, positive and personally meaningful outcome, I’ll guide you into a deeply relaxed and focused state and introduce suggestions tailored to your goal.
You remain aware and in control throughout the experience.

Most individual outcomes require between two and eight sessions, depending on the change you want to create, how established the pattern is and how you respond to the process.
A straightforward habit may require fewer sessions, while a more complex emotional or behavioural pattern may benefit from additional support.
We’ll discuss a recommended approach after your initial consultation. There is no need to commit to a package or more sessions than you need.

Your first session lasts approximately 75 minutes and includes a detailed exploration of your desired outcome and your initial hypnotherapy experience.
Follow-up sessions last approximately 60 minutes and allow us to reinforce, refine and build upon the changes you are creating.

Mindset training is about discovering the deep held beliefs we have carried within us from childhood. It is about understanding the stories that serve us. And the ones that don’t. It’s about identifying a habit, fear, goal or inner-critic that longer serves that needs a software reboot. We use NLP techniques to do timeline therapy where we heal repressed emotions, we integrate thoughts that hold you back, we use coding techniques to reprogram and reset the mind and neurological pathways. These tools are powerful.

My approach combines hypnotherapy with my background in NLP, mindset coaching, nervous-system regulation, yoga and meditation.
Meaningful change is rarely created by simply being told what to do. It requires trust, emotional safety and the opportunity to understand what may be happening beneath the behaviour.
You’ll be met with curiosity, compassion and no judgement.
This work isn’t about “fixing” you. It is about helping you access your own inner resources and build a stronger relationship with the unconscious part of you connected to your imagination, intuition, emotions and automatic responses.
Not at all. You remain aware and in control throughout the session. You cannot be made to do something that conflicts with your values or that you do not genuinely want to do.
Everyone experiences hypnosis differently, but many people describe it as a deeply relaxed and focused state. You may feel physically heavy, light, peaceful or simply very comfortable.
There is no need to perform or “get it right.” If you can follow simple guidance, use your imagination and allow yourself to relax, you can experience hypnosis. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Yes. Most people remain aware of what is happening and remember the session afterwards.
Some people notice a shift early in the process, while others experience change more gradually across several sessions. Most outcomes require between two and eight sessions, but individual experiences and results vary. Performance enhancement can be almost immediate for some.
Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical, psychiatric or psychological care. Certain circumstances or mental health conditions may make it unsuitable. We’ll discuss this before beginning, and I may recommend consulting your GP or another qualified health professional where appropriate. I do not deal with complex cases like clinical depression or severe mental health issues, but I can refer you to my trainer that can.

Sometimes it simply means you need another way to work with the pattern.
If you’re curious about hypnotherapy, start with a confidential conversation about the outcome you would like to create.
